We'd pictured spending a couple of days in Tuscany just like this! The detached house looks out over lovely valleys and hills, and gives you a chance to enjoy the slower Tuscan way of life amid beautiful scenery and the unforgettable scent of herbs. We're grateful to the kind hosts for letting us experience the heart of Tuscany.

The setting is beautiful, with scenery that looks like a painting. The landscape and the quiet seem equally special. The apartment was clean and well kept, and the owners, including Antonella, were very pleasant. It's cool in the evenings and not too hot during the day. The cities are close enough to get to easily, so I'd recommend staying here.

It's a Tuscan farmhouse out in the middle of "nowhere," with several apartments that can be joined by a shared staircase and have two entrances. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The kitchen was equipped, though we really missed having a microwave to heat food from home. There was a sandwich maker and an electric stove. The roads and dirt tracks nearby all seem to have the same name, so navigation can send you to the wrong spot. Best to search directly for the place and use the "take me here" option. :) :) It looks just like the attached map photo :)
