The ocean view was gorgeous, and it was easy to get to the beaches straight from the campsite. We stayed three nights with my boyfriend’s camp van and loved it. There were plenty of good parking spots for vans. The bathrooms and showers were great and very clean. Each morning I saw people cleaning the shared areas and keeping the whole place in good shape. There’s a small restaurant and snack bar up the hill, both nice, though a little expensive. I didn’t try the rooms. Really good place, highly recommend.

The campsite is small, peaceful, and scenic, with striking views, rocky surroundings, and a charming little beach. It was clean and well maintained, and you could tell the place was cared for. Prices were quite reasonable for the north, especially beside the much more expensive options nearby. Reception, bar, and restaurant staff were all friendly and helpful. We had one bad experience that affected our stay. One cleaner was very rude and unprofessional with guests, and I’d avoid interacting with her if possible. The men’s toilets were closed for cleaning for at least three hours on most days, and if anyone accidentally went in, she reacted aggressively. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our time and would recommend the campsite, with that one caution.

Camping Acapulco was a great-value place for a quiet stay surrounded by nature. I camped in a tent alone for €19 a night. I’d been considering a hotel at €120 a night for 10 days, or €1,200 total, so the campsite left me with a lot more spending money. Tent electricity costs €8 per night. If you don’t have a cable, they lend you one for a deposit, with no cable fee, which felt fair. There are tent and caravan spaces, plus small villas for rent. The setting is unreal. You can walk through the bush straight to the beach, and the rocky areas are great for seeing sea life, snorkeling, or going for an early swim. Sunsets over the mountains are beautiful, and at night, with the moon out, looking across the water toward the other islands feels magical. The staff were lovely and friendly, and most spoke English, which made settling in easy. There’s a restaurant and bar on site with good food, good people, and a nice feel. One small suggestion for the campsite team: adding padding or soft-close strips to the toilet and shower doors would help. They bang loudly when released, especially at night, and can disturb people trying to sleep.

We had the mini house, with one bedroom and a bathroom, and it was roomy enough for two. It also had a mini fridge and a spacious bathroom. This is a lovely campsite, and the view from the far end is amazing. It’s a five-minute walk to a beach that wasn’t too busy, where you can take windsurfing sessions. The campsite pizzeria was nice too, with pizza at 6€ for a margherita and Aperol spritz at 7€. Would highly recommend!

Our child loved being able to wander straight from the bungalow to the smooth granite rocks and little sandy coves. We stayed four nights in late May 2025, arriving by car without a tent or camper van. The campsite is small and relaxed, right on the granite coast, with masonry bungalows and mobile homes. Ours was dated but worked fine. We had a tent pitch with fig and olive trees just in front, which made a lovely shady spot for a hammock. There’s a bar that opens at 7:30am and a decent pizzeria in the evenings, but no pool or shop. Staff were friendly and the place felt welcoming. Camper van and RV visitors can choose from spots with quite different views and beach access. The main trade-off is limited facilities.
