Housekeeping were the only real positive, and there is some parking. Last year we booked at the last minute and got a nice, quiet room. This time we planned a full holiday here and regretted it. They put us in a separate building far from the hotel, with windows facing the very noisy pool. The strange animation kept us awake at night, and in the morning there were kids playing at the pool, as they should. The curtains didn’t cover the full window doors, so the room was barely dark and impossible to rest in. It was extremely dated, with very old uncomfortable beds and a broken floor. We were also far from breakfast. They rudely refused to cater to my husbands dietary requirements. We had to check whether there was anything he could eat, then go into town to get his breakfast because there was never anything suitable. Martina at reception was very rude when we arrived, and I was shocked by her attitude. We also saw other reception staff making no effort to help customers. I don’t know if management changed since last year, but we will not return. I have family living locally and usually help my friends in the UK arrange Sardinia holidays, since I grew up in the area. I’ll tell everyone to avoid this place. Worst experience in Palau so far. Avoid avoid avoid.

We were glad to move on after our one-night stop. The room was basic, with old, tired furniture, and the place had an old Benidorm sort of feel. Breakfast was a bit of a scrum with so many people. It was fine for a quick overnight stay after a boat ride, but I wouldn’t want to spend longer there.

We paid €1,000 for 5 nights, and the hotel didn’t want to refund us even after the room problem. Booking.com helped, and within 5 minutes of our call, things that the manager had said were “not possible” suddenly became possible. We got some money back, though not enough. I couldn’t stay another 5 minutes. The manager who kept saying no on the morning of July 13 didn’t come to apologize when we returned the keys. This place, Club Esse Possada, is a disgusting joke. The facilities looked like they hadn’t been updated since the 70s, and everything felt old and dirty. They put us in a handicapped room we hadn’t paid for. When we asked to move, the manager at reception said there were no other rooms because it was Sunday and many guests were leaving. The room was dirty. The supposed queen bed was two singles with a gap between them, and the bathroom was useless for us. I had to fix the loose toilet seat and shower drain myself. The toilet was so high that a short person’s feet wouldn’t reach the floor. No staff or managers wanted to help, zero customer service. I mean the reception managers on July 12-13, 2025. They wouldn’t give us their names. Breakfast wasn’t fresh, the pool was disgusting, and the location was poor. The surrounding buildings looked like 70s military bunkers converted into apartments, though we loved other parts of Sardinia. We called Booking.com and finally got a partial refund.

Warning, this felt like a next-level scam. It’s nowhere near the beach. The rooms were unclean, smelly, damp, and looked like a science experiment in poor hygiene. The furniture was date, there were stains on the walls, human waste smeared on a public toilet door, and blood on the room vanity. The room smelled of mould. Nearly all the staff were rude, and you’ll want Google Translate working and listening. This place needs demolition and a complete staff replacement.
