We had a great night at B&B la Fonda, my girlfriend and I enjoyed the whole stay. Kate, the owner, was so friendly and helpful, saying that almost undersells it. The room was lovely and breakfast was perfect. It cost very little compared with other places around there, and I'm glad we chose it because it exceeded what we expected.

Katie made us feel very welcome and was kind and helpful, and her recommendations are worth trusting. The room was spacious, clean and nicely furnished, and the food was great, with both Italian and continental options. Palau's center is close, but the place stays quiet, and parking was easy to find. Katie, an English woman who has lived in Sardinia for a long time, runs this lovely, intimate b & b. It's a fantastic, reasonably priced base for exploring Palau and Maddalena Archipelago.

Katie made us feel welcome right away. We had a lovely night at La Fonda, and the room was bright, airy, beautifully decorated, and spotless. Breakfast wasn’t available because of Covid, but the town’s cafes and restaurants were only a short walk away. I’d recommend staying here if you’re visiting Palau.
