Breakfast was good, and so was the WiFi, but the nearby busy road was a downside. The apartments are fine, although they don't have air conditioning. In August, sleeping was a bit uncomfortable, even with the fans provided. In a reply to my review, the owner said air conditioning could be rented. We hadn't known that, and nobody told us.

We never got a refund for the early check-in. We had paid for it and had black-and-white proof, but still waited four hours before we could get into our room. Showing the receptionist our earlier emails only brought more grief, with no apology. One receptionist kept arguing, then came into our room without announcing himself and carried on rambling. Customer service doesn't seem to be their strong point. We were treated like children at a hostel, and charged extra for bedding, air conditioning, and other things that should have been included. This place doesn't work like an Air B and B, despite what the listing suggests. It operates like a hotel with fixed opening times, which made arrival hard when guests were coming from all over the world. The Air B and B experience I've had around Europe is collecting a key from a safe at any time and finding a polite welcome note. That wasn't the case with these rude people. Their replies to bad reviews on Google, Air B and B, and Trip Advisor are full of lies and facetious remarks. They lied about what happened to us. We're 35-40 years old, not a bunch of kids. They're just angry, unprofessional men. I'd seriously avoid it if you're looking for a cheap stay in Sardinia. There are plenty of proper Air B and B places around for the same or less that offer much more. We learned our lesson, and I hope other bookers don't make the same mistake.
