There are walking and driving trails here, along with a little old-style shop and a sweet church with a courtyard and playground. Getting here by public transport is very hard since there's almost none in these parts, which really deserve more attention. The roadside litter and stray dogs are a shame, down to people being careless and thoughtless. Even so, this quiet village is well worth seeing. Time seems to slow down amid its old rural character, silence, and peaceful feel.

Rigolizia still has that old Sicilian charm, though not many people seem to know it. Its position is handy for visiting better-known places such as Noto and Palazzolo Acreide.

It's a pleasant spot to unwind, but the phone and data signal is completely dead. Forget WhatsApp, Facebook, or TikTok. If you get ill, there's no way to call for help or reach a hospital, because there isn't one.
