A Casa di Frà B&B

The hotel's location is good and the place is large, but I had to leave a poor review because of how the owners treated guests and showed no empathy. When my flight was postponed through no fault of mine, they wouldn't allow a late check-in, so I had to spend the night at the airport. The next day, I arrived to find my reservation canceled. They charged me for the first night as a penalty, then I had to pay for the whole stay again. Breakfast was disappointing as well: the same bread and croissants were served for several days, with no fresh food for guests.

The room was roomy, with its own bathroom, though the shower felt cramped. There’s no fridge in the room, but you can use the one in the shared kitchen. The B&B is a bit removed from things; the buses are cheap and dependable, so getting around wasn’t too much trouble. We struggled to find the place at first, but the host came out to meet us. Breakfast was disappointing: a packaged croissant, a kids’ juice box, a small biscuit pack, little toast-shaped biscuits in plastic, plus Nutella and jam. It didn’t feel like enough for a proper breakfast. We were given about five keys, and leaving early was awkward because the host was asleep. We had to unlock the apartment door, building door, and gate, prop them open, then take the keys back upstairs before we could leave. The building also seemed to be under construction.

Davide was so welcoming and friendly. Our check-in was late, and he stayed an extra hour for us. He greeted us warmly and took the time to explain everything.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the hosts were really kind and welcoming. There wasn’t a fridge in either the room or the kitchen.
