A Casa Mia

The location was perfect, but just about everything else went badly. The phone number from the booking didn’t answer, so I had to contact support to make sure someone would be there for check-in. Then the check-in lady said we hadn’t paid, and I had to ask support to call and explain that payment had already been made with the reservation. Renovations had started, but the apartment still had no ventilation, especially in the bathroom, and there was no shower curtain, so showering took care. After we used the kitchen sink, water backed up into the bidet and flooded the bathroom. Air conditioning was only in the shared room. Our guest room had a tiny window with no view, and opening it meant lots of noise at night. It was clean, but the pillows were huge, hard, and very uncomfortable. The worst part was the neighbor we had to share the apartment with. He basically lived in the kitchen and coughed a lot during the night.
