Salvatore is a legend and will do whatever he can to help. The location is good, though it’s in a residential building, so don’t expect a completely quiet, peaceful stay. The room was spacious, with wifi and electricity, and breakfast was a lovely touch. Still, it felt bare and unwelcoming, and could have used some decoration. It was alright, nothing special.

Expect a required 10EUR daily cleaning charge, even if the room isn’t cleaned. It wasn’t mentioned in my booking. I wouldn’t choose the breakfast option either: there’s a cafe bar for all guests, and paying for breakfast didn’t get me anything else. I can’t recommend the place if you want decent accommodation and honest treatment.

We booked this at the last minute in Palermo because it was among the cheapest options available, so I had no complaints about the service or rooms for what we paid. But there was a bedbugs infestation and we had to leave. We told the manager, and the way he reacted made it seem like this had been an ongoing problem.

I reserved a room for 10 days in January, but when I arrived, it was basically a dark, damp bathroom with a bed in it. There were no windows, and I couldn’t even lock the “room,” so I cancelled and found somewhere else to stay. They promised a refund, but nothing came back. After that, the accommodation charged my card three more times, four charges total, and never returned the money. Honestly, the worst experience of my life. Don’t even consider staying here.
