Apartment Ba&Mi

The beds were fairly comfortable, and the air conditioning worked. Those were the only real positives for us. The bathroom in apartment BA was incredibly narrow, and its door was useless. The photo must show the bathroom in the other apartment, because ours looked nothing like it. We were also left with just one small roll of toilet paper. We asked the man about it, and he said he’d bring more, but we ended up buying it ourselves. We never saw him again, including on our last day. We’d arranged a time to return the keys, but he didn’t show, and when we called, he told us to leave them in the mailbox. There are two apartments, marked BA and MI. We were two couples and were assigned BA. On the first day, the man waited for us, handed over the keys, and showed us around. Before leaving, he said we had to pay a fee of €1.50 per person per day. There were four of us for two nights, so it came to €12. We paid, though I didn’t think it seemed legal since we got no receipt or anything. I really didn’t like that, especially as the apartment wasn’t all that great. I honestly wouldn’t recommend it or stay here again.

Our host kept in touch from the time we arrived at Palermo airport until we left, and shared the information we needed to make sure we didn’t miss the places we were meant to see. The location is very good, close to the port, and the rooms are very large. An excellent host. 👌

We had a great stay. The rooms were nice and clean, the owners were friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to visit Palermo.
