We spent almost two months at b&b alla vucciria, and it became a home for us for a while. My friend and I felt like a little family there. Claudio was a wonderful host, and I'm so grateful we had him. He helped us out, suggested places to visit, and shared stories about Palermo's history and food. The place is beautiful and comfortable, and the welcome is genuinely warm. If you want to meet lovely people while staying in Palermo, this is a great place.

We loved our two nights here. Claudio took time to point us toward places to see and good food, and he seemed like the kind of host who'd do anything for his guests. The BnB is close to everything we wanted to visit in Palermo, with a good cafe downstairs and lots of street food nearby. My wife and I would definitely recommend staying here.

For budget travellers, this is a great place to stay. The rooms are spacious, nice, and perfectly decent, and the location makes it easy to explore Palermo. Claudio, the owner, was very welcoming and kind. I don't think the '1-star hotel' label shown on Google does it justice. I'd come back next time I'm in Palermo.

The bedrooms are beautifully furnished and decorated, and the BnB sits right in the heart of Palermo beside the well-known Alla Vucciria. Claudio is a warm, knowledgeable host, and over time he's become a good friend. I've made a point of staying with him whenever I travel to Sicily.

The double room I was given was spacious and very clean, and Claudio answered questions or problems quickly on WhatsApp. He seems like a nice guy with plenty of information about Palermo and Sicily, though we only had a short conversation. The gallery was still being built, and sometimes there was a bad smell from the bathroom. With the place in the Vucceria, nights can be noisy, so bring earplugs if you need to sleep early. The Wi-Fi also wasn't working during my stay. Because of covid-19, Claudio wasn't serving breakfast. Instead, he gave me a coupon for coffee and something like a croissant at the Lucchese bar downstairs. That didn't really suit me, so Claudio gave me a small discount. He hadn't mentioned the breakfast change or the Wi-Fi issue, and his website advertises both, so I'd been expecting some typical sicilian specialties. The location is okay, near the historic centre and port, and only a 10-minute walk from the station. Parking could be horrible. Still, the bathroom smell, ongoing construction in the room, and breakfast arrangement mean I wouldn't stay here again.
