B&B Benincasa

The service was good and everything was clean, but the breakfast was very poor, more like coffee with a small snack. One room is basically just a bed, with nothing else apart from the stairs up to the mezzanine; the other room is okay. The windows look out onto a very dirty courtyard, so you’re better off not looking. The neighborhood also feels poor.

The host was very helpful and explained things in French. The location is good, housekeeping was done every day, and there’s even a microwave.

We were in the heart of Borgovecchio, in an area with plenty of restaurants and bars and lots of services nearby. The historic building has good accommodations and the hospitality was excellent, but getting luggage up the steep stairs to the rooms isn’t easy. We tried the grill suggested by the B&B owner, and it was a great choice.

A really good b&b in Palerme, with a great location, lovely decor, and a perfect welcome. Our host even stepped in when we had trouble communicating with the next accommodation, calling several times for us and acting as an intermediary. Fresh breakfast was provided, with tea, coffee, and lots to choose from. We highly recommend staying here.
