The location is excellent, with the main sights all walkable, and the airport shuttle bus station was about a ten-minute walk away. I had a fabulous one-night stay on my own. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and even though I turned up unannounced an hour early just to leave my luggage, they kindly let me into my room. There are two shared bathrooms, so there's a good chance one will be free when you need it. Breakfast is the usual Italian sort, with a few coffees and pastries. I'd recommend it!

I was disappointed with the stay, especially since there are better options nearby, some cheaper too. The place felt dark and humid, and the main kitchen had no light when I went in. My room wasn't cleaned during the five days, despite a sign saying cleaning would happen every three days. I never saw any staff or service person, and the cereal I'd left in the fridge disappeared without a note. There was a cockroach in the bathroom, which may not have been their fault, but it was unpleasant. The AC keys were on the same ring as the door keys, so I had to switch it off whenever I left the room, even just to use the bathroom. The contact was friendly and the self check-in was explained clearly, and the location was great, with plenty to do nearby and the city center close. The bathroom was shared, something the website didn't mention. That's not necessarily a problem, but I would've liked to know before booking.

We stayed eight days and had no complaints. The hostess was really welcoming, shared lots of information and insights about Palermo, and checked whether we wanted the room cleaned. The neighborhood was quiet. Thanks, Marsilia 😌

Getting around the city centre was easy from here. It’s a good fit for younger travellers who are comfortable sharing facilities, and the bed was comfortable. The place was warm and welcoming, very clean and tidy, and the owners were always available. My partner and I left earlier than planned, but Mrs Enza was understanding and helped us out by refunding the booking. She was lovely, and even offered us coffee.
