After visiting a few towns around Sicily, we spent three nights at Mondello Design B&B. The room was so comfortable, I had the best sleep. Roberta was a wonderful host, caring and very friendly. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with fresh cakes baked every day. I'd recommend staying here without hesitation.

November 2025: This is a clean, quiet neighborhood by the beach, about 15 minutes from Palermo's cultural attractions and city center. The rooms have been updated and are nicely furnished in light colors with beach imagery, and the in-room bathrooms are updated too. The ownership and staff are friendly and helpful, with great suggestions for places to see in and near Palermo. Walk along the beach, just two blocks away, and don't miss Monreale Cathedral and Monastery, a 40 minute drive. I highly recommend it for couples, families, or solo travelers. James

Roberta made us feel very welcome, and her B&B is kept tidy and smart. We were two adults and two kids, and the family room worked well for us. Breakfast was great, and the beach is just a two-minute walk away. Brilliant stay in Mondello, we'd happily return.

The peaceful setting is still close to everything we wanted to explore, and the food was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. Roberta welcomed us warmly from the start and was incredibly kind, making sure we had what we needed. A fantastic B&B for hospitality, quality, and warmth. We'll definitely come back.

The room was clean, nice, and felt completely safe. And yes, all the reviews saying Roberta is amazing are right. She helped us a lot before we arrived and while we were there. Breakfasts were great too, with fresh pastries, fruit, sandwiches, and more. If we return to Mondello, we'll stay here again.
