The host was lovely, the room was good, and the location is great, about 10 minutes from the city center. Breakfast comes with the price, though it’s basic. Good value overall. The pillows were quite hard, which was the one downside.

Sonia was a great host and suggested things for us to see. The place was clean, and it’s about a seven-minute walk to the center.

The apartment has a distinctive, vintage look, with Marilyn Monroe pictures in our room, and it was all clean and welcoming. Mrs. Sonia greeted us warmly and showed us to the room. It’s only a few minutes on foot from the city center, so I’d recommend it for a few nights in Palermo.

Sonia is a true Roman, very friendly and helpful, and she’ll make sure you’re satisfied. B&B Sonia is affordable, clean, and has spacious rooms with an ensuite bathroom, small kitchen, refrigerator, TV, and a comfortable bed. The furnishings are a bit dated, apart from the new modern bathroom, but that suits the age of the building. It’s on the first floor of a period building, just steps from Palermo’s historic center. Even with big-city traffic, the street below stays quiet enough for a peaceful night. Highly recommended!

Sonia is a fantastic person, and we had a really good stay. The apartment was spotless, well cared for, and had everything we needed. The city center is an excellent five-minute walk away. Highly recommended!
