Check-in was really smooth, and the host was incredibly helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the location couldn’t be better. We loved breakfast at a cafe nearby, especially the pastries, best in Palermo.

Massimo was such a generous host. He was kind, happy to chat, and full of recommendations, including a list of his favorite restaurants. He also makes a great breakfast. We’re very grateful for his hospitality. The small hotel has boutique rooms near Palermo’s historic center. Ours was spacious and clean, with a large king bed, modern design, and a roomy bathroom with shower, toilet, and bidet. Everything was well organized. Markets are close, as are the capuchin catacombs, which are well worth visiting. The local train station is about a 5-10 minute walk away, and the train to Palermo airport costs less than a taxi. One booking issue to know about: when we booked through Capital One, we didn’t get Massimo’s check-in instructions from Booking.com, which normally arrive about three days before arrival. There seem to be errors in Capital One’s system, and this wasn’t the hotel’s fault. Massimo was patient and very helpful as we worked it out. Book directly through Booking.com to avoid that problem.

Massimo and the woman who helped with the room had everything so well organized. It was all perfect and very clean!

At La Dimora Del Capo, we had a really pleasant stay. The host gave us a warm welcome and even offered to carry our bags. The room was quiet, comfortable, and clean.
