We only had one night here at the end of August, and I really didn't want to leave. Riccardo, the owner, was so kind and helpful, with useful advice, and I felt at home straight away. The apartment was lovely and carefully maintained, everything seemed new, and the sheets smelled fresh. Its location was spectacular, a real taste of Palermo, and we could walk to all the main sights. Just a goodbye for now.
The apartment itself became the best part of my little trip. It was new, spotless, tidy, and equipped with every comfort, with details that made it easy to feel at ease. Riccardo was warm and helpful, and I found the relaxation I needed there. I didn't want to leave. Because of Covid I hadn't travelled this year, so, like many people, I had to give up a vacation. Instead I decided to rediscover my own city. After plenty of searching I found the "Briaria apartment" in Palermo's historic centre, surrounded by culture and history. The modern, welcoming place seemed perfect for unwinding and feeling on holiday. Even staying in my own city, I felt I was somewhere beautiful that I'd never really seen before. Those days were full of happy, carefree moments. As a Palermitan, I'm more convinced than ever that Palermo deserves to be promoted as an Italian destination. I can't recommend the "Briaria Apartment" enough. Have a wonderful holiday, everyone!
