The house had all the comforts and amenities we could ask for, including a laundry room with household supplies and spare items like detergents, toilet paper, brooms, and even beach umbrellas. Both owners were there when we arrived and had advice on places, activities, and beaches to visit. The historic center location made it easy to explore Palermo on foot, and the neighborhood was fairly quiet. Parking was a bit difficult, though manageable. Getting out of the city to reach the beaches was a challenge because of traffic and having to leave Palermo.
