This was disappointing and unclear from the start. I booked through Booking.com, but the property canceled my reservation, saying it would apply a discount, then charged a very high city tax even though Booking said it was included. Nobody had mentioned that the bathroom was downstairs rather than in the room. Breakfast was poor and had little variety. There was no safe in the rooms for money or valuables, and I noticed some of my belongings were missing. The central Palermo location was the only good thing about the stay.

My husband and I stayed four nights, and the location was close to tourist attractions and a theater. The room wasn't as comfortable as it could have been: getting to it meant climbing a narrow staircase, and the old bathroom was downstairs. I was careless and left money in the room, but 850 euros disappeared on the second day. The staff accepted no responsibility at all. I had to file a police report and keep a record each day, which wasted my time and left me disappointed. I definitely won't stay at this hotel again. I felt there was no security for my belongings.

We felt so looked after here. The owner and staff gave us a very warm welcome, then shared loads of ideas for sights and places to eat. The owner's love for the city rubbed off on us, and we managed to see almost everything he suggested. Freshly baked croissants and a continental breakfast on the verandah were a lovely treat. It's a charming B&B, well placed for landmarks and restaurants. A really lovely stay 🥰

I think someone there is a thief, because my money disappeared from the room.
