BaRock B&B Palermo

The B&B is right in the center, so Palermo's sights were easy to reach on foot. Our room was lovely, clean, and comfortable, and the bath felt especially luxurious. The area is lively, as Liviana explained upfront, but the noise didn't take away from the stay. Breakfast at the café around the corner was generous, authentic, and delicious. Liviana was warm, friendly, and helpful from before we arrived through our departure. She made sure we got in and left easily and safely, shared local recommendations, helped with our dietary needs, and met us to make sure we were settled. She also arranged a Palermo tour with her colleague Alessandra. Alessandra was a fantastic guide, and the tour was a great way to try local delicacies and get local insights. We had a wonderful time and would wholeheartedly recommend BaRock B&B.

Liv, our host, was the kindest and most helpful B&B host we've met. She sent clear check-in instructions, suggested great local places, and even went out of her way to help when we needed assistance with our next flight. The B&B is very central, close to the heart of Palermo, and the shared space, room, and bathroom were all clean and spacious. Thanks for having us, we'd definitely recommend staying here.

We could walk everywhere from this great location, and breakfast was at a nice café just a minute away. The place was spotless and comfortable, with lovely details. Liviana was so nice and helpful, making sure we had what we needed and advising us on what to see, how to get there, where to eat, and more. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Liv was very helpful and always available on WhatsApp with advice, even though I never met her since check-in was self-service. The room had cool, unusual decor, and a beer and water were waiting for me. The apartment is in the heart of Palermo, close to bars, restaurants, and some main sights. Nearby, I'd recommend Punk Funk bar and Mooddica, Liv's parents' wine bar, for its amazing Sicilian wines and food. The setup is basically bedrooms in a converted apartment, with other guests sharing the space. Mine were a bit noisy and didn't seem aware of, or considerate toward, someone else staying there. If you're in a group that's fine, but on your own it can feel like having a private room in a small hostel. The key card buzzers are loud, and you can hear everything in the apartment. Also, the apartment sits between two bars that get very noisy on Fridays and Saturdays. I didn't mind because I wanted to go out, but it won't suit you if you're looking for somewhere quiet.
