Hostelò Luxury Hostel

I've stayed at Hostelò twice in ten days, and it's one of the best hostel experiences I've had. The beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms and toilets are kept spotless. They even leave free shower gel in the showers. The owner and receptionist made me feel welcome right away, and they'll cook meals if you ask. The hostel's also well placed for Palermo's main sights. In the dorms, people sometimes arrive late and switch the lights on, so a sleep mask and earplugs are useful. A small travel towel helps too, though the hostel sells one for about 3 euros if you forget yours. Hostelò has comfort, cleanliness, and a nice social feel, whether you're used to hostels or trying one for the first time.

When I post a review, it's usually because somebody offered me free food or because a place is actually goated. Glad to say Hostelò is the second kind.

The staff are lovely and ready with help or suggestions for places to visit. The hostel is on the town's main street, close to markets, ATMs, shops, and the other services you need. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, and the bathroom is very clean. You can do laundry here too. I'd recommend it to families, couples, and travelers.

Hostelò is right in the center of Palermo's main street, with the city's main bus services nearby. I stayed four nights and would definitely return. The place is new, so the modern rooms and facilities felt almost like a proper hotel, and everything was super clean and maintained daily. The room had good ventilation and never smelled. The workers were kind and genuinely helpful, and the boss man was often around, friendly and hands-on. Weekend communal dinners were a great way to meet people. My favorite thing, apart from the showers, was the refillable sparkling and still water station. More hooks in the shower rooms would help. I also found it odd that there were no curtains, which took away privacy and meant a light in the dark could shine across the whole room. Big thanks to all the staff for their kindness and hospitality.
