President Hotel Palermo

We felt very uncomfortable at this hotel and won't come back. The towels smelled like faeces and made me vomit, there were bugs in the bedroom, and staff wouldn't do anything until we asked reception. Cleaning was very poor. Breakfast had very few choices, mostly some pastries and coffee or tea. The hotel is in a very bad area, far from the center and everything else. The sea view was poor too, with the noisy harbour dominating it.

We stayed four nights, and the room we were given was tiny. When I asked the next morning if it was what I’d paid for, they said it was an upgrade because it had a balcony. It was much too small for two people with luggage. The view was mostly the road and construction at the port, and we had to pay for parking. The chef was quite rude when we asked him something. Don’t pay extra for a balcony, it isn’t worth it.

We had a great stay here as a group. The place was very clean and felt well looked after, and the staff were consistently welcoming and helpful. They made organizing the group stay smooth and stress-free. I’d definitely come back.

The staff were really friendly and the service was good, but breakfast fell short of what I expected. The room had plenty of space, though there wasn't much furniture and it wasn't very well equipped. Being close to the port didn't make it quiet, either. It was very loud at night, so I'd give the hotel no more than three stars.
