We had a small apartment at the back, with a full kitchen, dining space, and two balconies looking onto the botanic garden. The rooms and fittings are basic, which makes sense for a hotel rated two stars, but this place is a real find. It's in a residential neighborhood, so there aren't many tourist bars or restaurants around. We picked up ingredients at the Todis Supermarket around the corner and made dinner in. The nights were peaceful and quiet during our two-night stay. There's a Red Bus stop across the road on Via Lincoln. The man at reception was so kind and helpful, and the stay really stuck with me. I'd definitely come back.

Our top-floor room faced the courtyard, so it was very quiet. The hotel is close to the main sights and right by the main train station, with restaurants nearby. Breakfast was simple and a little overpriced, though you can order food at the small bar by the entrance. The staff are nice, and I'd recommend staying here.

I was there for one night, and it cost 30€ for the night. The furniture is a bit old but simple. The shower, toilet, bidet, and sink were clean, and the TV and internet worked fine. The staff were helpful.

A train strike disrupted our trip, so we had to find somewhere to stay at the last minute. When we got into the room at 11pm, we found bed bugs. We told the reception staff, and they didn't seem surprised.

The view over Botanical gardens was amazing, and it was mostly quiet. This is a great old hotel, with plenty of room for bags and clothes, though our room was a bit bare. There was just one drinking glass, and getting to the limited outlets meant kneeling down and digging around. The fridge worked, but we had to choose between cold drinks and keeping a laptop fully charged. It was mostly clean, though we did have some trouble with mosquitos. The neighborhood is handy for Central Station and the beach, and a little sketchy, but no more than elsewhere in the central city. Bring a power strip and bug spray and you'll have a lovely stay!
