Hotiday Mondello Beach

Hotiday's photos showed roomy accommodation with proper furniture, wardrobes, and space to unpack. What we got was a tiny, cramped room without basic equipment, so our suitcases had to stay stacked in a corner. For the price, it felt like a rip-off. Hotiday says the pictures are “illustrative,” but what they advertise is completely different from what guests receive. Other visitors have described the same problem, so this doesn't seem like a one-off. We felt cheated and will report it to Booking. Do yourself a favor and don't book through Hotiday. Save your money and avoid the disappointment.

The staff were lovely and everything was perfect!

Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of variety. I also liked having it served at the table instead of having to keep going up to a buffet. 😊 We stayed for a week at Mondello Glam Hotel, booked through the startup Hotiday, and were really happy with it. The room was small, but clean and tidy, and you can see its size while booking. Everyone on staff was friendly and accommodating, especially Valentina, who deserves a special thank you. We'd definitely book again ❤️

After talking to the receptionist, we learned that other guests booking through Hotiday had also complained that the rooms didn't match the offer. The receptionists said they couldn't do much, since Hot Idea only has a few rooms in their hotel and they have no say in how those rooms are advertised. We've already reported the misleading offer to Booking.com and asked them to take it down. The room we got was much smaller than the photos suggested and didn't have a wardrobe or basic amenities. We had nowhere to put our things, so our suitcases and clothes stayed in a corner. The pictures showed a larger room with space to unpack, so the difference was huge. We feel misled. Hotiday didn't help explain what happened, doesn't answer messages, and points to the pictures being “illustrative.” They are charging a high price for something that bears no resemblance to the offer. It feels like a complete scam.
