il Palchetto B&B di Charme e Design

Sylvia made everything feel personal and easy. She kept in touch with us on What's App before the trip, arranged an airport pickup, and gave us a map with places to visit. At breakfast she also sent over dinner and shopping suggestions, as I’d asked. Her pastries each morning were exceptional, and our room was cleaned daily with fresh water left by the bed. We chose this B&B because my husband’s mother was born in Palermo, and I wanted to stay near her area. The room was perfect for us, with a balcony overlooking the street and a great view of the Opera House. It was extremely clean, with a very comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The location is central and close to everything, yet on a quiet street. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a charming stay.

We had to leave early for a day trip and would miss breakfast, so the hostess put together a takeaway the night before with fruit, cake, juice, and a granola bar. She really goes the extra mile for guests. The B&B has beautifully designed, spacious rooms and ensuite bathrooms, and the quality was top notch. I’d stay again without a second thought.

Getting around the city on foot was easy from this very central B&B. It was clean and comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. Silvia is what makes the place, she’s friendly, helpful, and wonderfully organized. She’s also a great cook, and the cakes she bakes for breakfast are divine. Ten stars all around. We’ll be back!

Sylvia was cheerful and kind, and willing to help with information. The room was among the cleanest and most beautifully decorated we’ve stayed in. Breakfast included organic products, and the bath items were natural-based and chosen with care for the environment. Everything was tasteful. The location is perfect, though the neighbourhood felt a bit scary at first, without any real reason, as it turned out.
