Roberto replied quickly through the booking app, handled everything there, and speaks fluent English. He also left us several bottles of fresh drinking water. The residence was immaculate and had laundry facilities, lots of board games and books in Italian and English, and a Playstation 4. I found the apartment a little tricky to locate, but it sits right in the middle of Old Town Palermo. Walking out for some of the best Sicillian food I’d ever tried was easy, and this part of the stay suited me perfectly as someone who likes walking and wandering. There’s even a treadmill in one room if you want to run. Anyone with disabilities should know there’s no lift and walking around the area is quite necessary, so a hotel may be a better fit. For me, this is probably the most comfortable Airbnb residence I’ve stayed in. I’d absolutely return and recommend it to anyone who can make the most of it. I wrote this review snuggled into one of Roberto’s beds, feeling very comfortable.

The owners are incredibly kind and accommodating, and the location worked perfectly for us. The city center is close, the train station is only five minutes away if you’d rather not walk, and the window has a lovely view. The apartment has four beds across two rooms, a double in one and two singles in the other, plus a spacious living room, kitchen, and bathroom. It’s equipped with almost everything, including a fully fitted kitchen, though somehow there wasn’t a knife. There’s good lighting, three TVs, and digital equipment throughout. The owners provide access to Netflix and other streaming services, though they’re only in Italian and English. You’ll also find a capsule coffee machine, oil, salt, and a soda maker.

Roberto was attentive, punctual, and always available to guests. The apartment is new, tastefully furnished, spotless, and thought through down to the details, with every comfort. Itiseasy is in a central but quiet part of Palermo, making it easy to explore on foot. I’ve rarely found this much care in a holiday rental. I’d highly recommend it and will definitely return.
