The convenient location for getting to the city center was the only good part of our stay. I expected more based on the accommodation description. The room was very basic and not especially clean, and the bathroom was awkward to use. The shower head didn’t work properly, and there was nowhere to put toiletries. We also had trouble with the hot water at first and worried we might not be able to shower, though that was eventually fixed. The owner was kind and helpful, but didn’t seem fully prepared to deal with problems in a property that felt poorly maintained and cared for.

The place was really nice and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a nightclub downstairs that stays open until the early hours, but I can assure you that earplugs mean you won’t hear anything. The location is very convenient.

The neighborhood has plenty of charm, with bars and restaurants all around, right in the heart of Palermo. The studio is comfortable and clean, and about a 10-minute walk from the train station, which worked well for arriving from the airport. The street stays lively until 3:00 AM, and the studio window faces it, but don’t worry about the noise. Andrea was friendly, available, accommodating, and quick to respond. We had a wonderful stay in Palermo!

It was awful, a real pain. The room isn’t soundproof enough, so sleeping at night is impossible. This is a bar area, with a music venue right downstairs. The music goes on nonstop until 3:00, and the street is packed with people out partying.
