The place was noisier than I'd hoped, and the bed was quite uncomfortable. People were friendly enough, but it didn't match what I expected from the earlier reviews. Breakfast now comes as a coupon for a donut at a local cafe about a 3 minute walk away, instead of the nice breakfast described.

The room had a warm, local feel, and the Wi-Fi, hot water, and breakfast were all great. Mario explained how to use the lift, helped me arrange tours, and showed me around Palermo. He even fixed my suitcase after a wheel came off. We shared dinner, too. The room was just right, and Mario went out of his way to make me feel welcome. Thanks for a memorable five nights. I hope we meet again in New Zealand or maybe Brazil.

The view was gorgeous, and I felt safe there. I arrived very late but everything still went smoothly. There’s no sign outside, though, so I wasn’t sure where I was going, and it was pretty noisy. That’s Palermo, I guess. 🌻🌞💜

The tour and Mario’s kindness made the stay especially lovely. I’ve never felt this good at a hotel or hostel before. The view is amazing. Thank you again, Mario, you’re the best host in the world.

A good-value place right in the center, and a handy base for exploring Palermo.
