The location was the one bright spot, even though the apartment is run-down. The washing machine was missing, which really makes a difference, and neither of the two TVs worked. The wall-mounted hairdryer was awful, basically only useful if you're bald. We were also told about late checkout just a few hours before leaving, without any warning. The apartment needs updating, and there should be a spare key for the electricity.

The rooms were clean and had almost everything, and they looked nice. But when the toilet got clogged, the owners didn't seem very concerned, even though they knew I couldn't use the bathroom. They weren't very professional, but the cleanliness and room facilities were good.

The owners were very helpful, and everything went perfectly. This welcoming B&B is in a historic part of Palermo, close to the traditional Capo market, the cathedral, and the royal palace, so you can get a feel for local life.
