Salvatore and his wife, Rosy, were so warm and welcoming. He even brought me some fish, and whenever I needed anything, he was ready to sort it out within five minutes. The holiday home is spotless, fully equipped, and close to the sea. They’re such friendly, hospitable people. I’ll be back.

It’s very convenient if you want to stay near the sea, since the apartment is close to Sferracavallo beach. It was clean and well looked after when we arrived. The downside is the lack of outside air. The windows are all surrounded by other windows, so there’s hardly any airflow and air only comes in from above. Not a good fit if you’re used to getting fresh air from outdoors.

We spent three carefree hours out on the boat with Mr. Salvatore, seeing the beautiful coast and hearing its legends and bits of history. He even brought a snack for us and our three children. The owners were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with anything. We’ve just finished a week in this lovely home, which had everything we needed, including a welcome basket full of tasty treats. If you’re going to Sferracavallo, trust them. They’re the best!

Everything inside was clean, and the location near the beach was great. The cookware could do with replacing, though. The two pans I used were old and greasy.

The hosts made us feel welcome with wine, milk and water in the fridge, plus a basket packed with snacks and coffee. The apartment was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and plenty of useful things, including towels, toiletries, a beach umbrella, washing machine and coffee maker. Thanks so much, I’d recommend it.
