Nostra Casa Suite

A great place, amazing in every detail, especially Sheila, who’s so nice and friendly.

The best in Palermo!

The rooms are roomy and clean, and the place is easy to reach by car right in the center. They’re on the second floor, up a narrow staircase. There’s no breakfast now, just the bed, since the owner stopped offering it because of the pandemic. We left early and I sent a polite thank-you message at checkout, but she didn’t reply at all :D.

The location was handy, right by LIDL and about five minutes from the station and Palermo’s nightlife area. Our room was large and clean, with a roomy shower, but it barely had any ventilation. The building’s thick walls blocked phone reception, and the Wi-Fi was so unreliable that staying connected became really frustrating. We told the landlady, but nothing changed during our three-night stay. The bathroom light ran on a sensor and kept switching off at the worst moments. There was also a lot of shouting from the landlady, from early morning until late at night. We finally went into the hallway in the middle of the night and asked for some quiet. And there was no breakfast, just a bed, which rather misses the point of calling it a B&B.
