The breakfast was wonderful, with sweet and savory choices or a mix. We chose a mix, and they can bring it to your room. Ours included coffee, juice, mozzarella, tomatoes, slices of French stick, yogurt, Nutella, croissants, Melba toast, and fresh diced melon. The historic center is about an 8-10 minute walk away. Highly recommended for couples. We stayed in the Francesco Lo Jacono room, one of the beautiful, grand suites. It had stylish decor, a huge bed with super comfortable mattresses, quiet air conditioning, and a small fridge. The bathroom was lovely, and the shower had strong pressure. The suites are on the second floor, so there are stairs, but there's also a quaint old elevator, just big enough for two people and maybe a suitcase.

The Gustav Klimt room really needs renovating. A lot of things were either dirty or falling apart, and the room smelled of dog with lots of dog hair, probably from the previous guests. The terrace door didn't shut properly, so it felt like Palermo's streets were right in the room. The staff were very friendly, though a bit confused.

I had to cancel because my plans changed, but the management was kind, responsive, and flexible, which really impressed me. I hope to stay there sometime.
