The rooms vary, and some have showers right in the bedroom. The location is good, and the suites with kitchens look nice. Seems suited to families or a romantic break.

The apartment was new and decent, but it didn’t match the online photos. We’d expected it to feel cozy, and it didn’t. Most areas were clean enough, but the bathroom was dirty, with hair in the shower, and the outdoor space was extremely dirty. I’m disappointed by the reply to my wife’s review below. It isn’t honest. We booked the “deluxe apartment” and got that, with no upgrade as the response claims. The apparent excrement outside couldn’t have come from our dogs, since they never went out there. They didn’t enter the bathroom either, so their hair couldn’t have been in the shower. Before my first shower, at night when no maid was available, I had to clear the drain, which was blocked with long blond hair. The sink was already dirty when we arrived, and empty toiletries from previous guests were left on top of the tropical shower head. That makes it clear cleaning wasn’t taken seriously. The claim that there was dog hair everywhere is ridiculous. We swept the floor before leaving, had groomed the dogs before the hotel stay, and brought their own beds. It’s easy to blame us because we brought dogs, but we had declared one big and one medium-sized dog, based on their weights. We didn’t request fresh sheets or towels during our two-night stay because we try to save resources for the environment. It’s truly disappointing to see a hotel respond dishonestly to an honest review. That says a lot too. We wouldn’t recommend this place.

Check-in was easy, and Daniele was very helpful when he welcomed us. There’s parking nearby at the harbor, though the hotel hadn’t arranged it as the ad said. Breakfast is organized at a café around the corner. The staff there weren’t very friendly, and the food was nothing special. The stay was okay, but Palermo In Suite Aparthotel didn’t come close to the expectations set by its online listing. The apartment was decent, but not what the photos showed. Remove the charming details in those pictures and add worn-looking furnishings and a lot of dirt outside, and that’s closer to the reality. It was reasonably clean, not spotless, especially in the bathroom. The outdoor space was as large as pictured, but dirty and unwelcoming. The promised “city views” weren’t there at all. We had no view, apart from a tiny bathroom window that gave us a hint Palermo was out there. For the price, we were definitely disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it to other travelers.

There was mold everywhere, the smell was awful, and the rooms were in poor shape and badly maintained. The listing says airport transport is included, but it isn’t. They charge extra after you’ve spent the night. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, and I’ll never return.
