Stanze al Capo

I rented a room here for work and had a great time. The owner was a wonderful person and always available. The property is in central Palermo, so it's easy to get around and reach the many tourist spots for both day and evening. Even though it's close to the lively Capo market, which is a must-see, the area gets very quiet at night. The nightlife is only a few blocks away and easy to reach on foot, but it didn't cause problems here. If I come back to Palermo, this will definitely be my first stop.

We had forgotten our little one's pillow, and the cleaning ladies were wonderful about bringing it down to us. They were professional and kind. The room itself was beautifully designed, tastefully furnished, and very clean, with fresh-smelling linens and towels. The bathroom was functional and spotless. Giulia handled check-in remotely by phone and made it completely smooth. At the entrance there was a welcome kit with a coffee pod machine, water, and packaged snacks. The location worked perfectly, close to the Capo market. We also appreciated being near the Orlando car park, where we could leave the car and luggage safely overnight for a very reasonable price. Recommended.

Marco was a great host, always there when we needed him. He sorted out a major problem for us on Ferragosto (August 15th). The house was quiet, comfortable, and very clean, with a spacious, well-kept room and comfortable beds. Its location made it easy to explore all of Palermo's old town on foot. Highly recommended!

We ended up with the room that had a balcony, and our roommates were nice, which helped make the stay satisfactory for the price. The place is only 3-5 minutes from the center, and the owner was very helpful, so I'd consider staying again if I return to Palermo. A few things to know: the bathroom is shared, though that wasn't specified. The apartment is small, and there is only one balcony in the building apart from a tiny kitchen one that's really just a window. The back of the house faces a rather shady area and a neighboring building where residents yelled until 2 a.m. The website also had no photo of the front of the house, which made it hard to find.
