There were lots of stairs, but they didn’t bother us, and we loved the raised terrace. The location was great, with plenty of different places to eat and interesting art shops nearby. The place was welcoming, comfortable, and clean, with thoughtful homely touches.

We spent four days and three nights in this excellent apartment and would gladly return anytime. It’s right in the center of historic Palermo, a great base for visiting palaces, churches, museums, shops, and restaurants. You have to see it to believe it. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The hosts, Claudia and Fulvio, are wonderful and do everything they can to make you comfortable. Their renovated Attico de La Rosa is in a historic building in the old town, perfectly placed for exploring Palermo on foot. Inside, there are two spacious bedrooms with beautiful stucco details, two bathrooms, and a lovely rooftop terrace. The rooms are spread over two floors, which makes the apartment feel even more spacious and gives you quiet places to retreat. It’s dreamlike and very comfortable. Available through Airbnb and highly recommended.

A fantastic, comfortable apartment in a great location. The terrace has a superb view of Palermo, and the place is ideal for a group of 4-6. Book without hesitation.
