Pretty place, but not comfortable at all. It was hard to find, and the taxi might not know how to get there. There's a lot of dust, so anyone with allergies should stay away. No elevator either, just dark stairs to climb.

We stayed in a beautiful 16th-century building in central Palermo, a fantastic way to spend a few days. The owners were so hospitable that they lent us their swimsuits and invited us to lunch on Easter Sunday. Breakfast was generous, with fruit and Sicilian pastries. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return.
