We felt safe here, and it was handy having a supermarket and bus stop just across the street. The staff were great and accommodating, especially the kind, helpful receptionist. Our room was clean, tidy, and nicely put together. Breakfast was wonderful, with tasty food and freshly baked croissants each morning. They were to die for. I'd absolutely recommend this place!

Good luck trying to shower. The shower head had come off the wall, so it was impossible to use properly. I hope they'll repair it, or at least tell people paying for the room about it beforehand.

The location was really convenient, and the room was stunning and spotless. The building, thoughtful details, staff, and breakfast all made the stay feel amazing. They cleaned our room every day and restocked the minibar. We felt at home!

The location is great for getting to the coastline and beach, and the guesthouse may have the fixtures and fittings of a five star hotel. But I didn't find it comfortable or peaceful enough for a good night's sleep. The mattress was brand new but much too hard for me. The minibar fridge hummed loudly, especially annoying at night. In the smaller rooms there was no glass in the windows, just air vents and shutters, so outside sounds came straight in. The property is on a very busy road for Sicily/Palermo, with constant traffic noise. The AC was installed directly over the beds in those rooms, making noise and blowing air onto whoever was sleeping there. With no glass in the windows, mosquitos also kept getting into the room at night. The pictures make the hotel look good, and breakfast is included with the booking. But I found the host, Riccardo D’arrò, very unprofessional. When I raised the room problems, he got offended right away and treated me badly for the rest of my stay. I wouldn't stay here for more than one night if I had to. The larger rooms cost extra, and the smaller rooms look nice but don't work well as hotel rooms. I'd choose another nearby hotel, even if it cost a little more. For me, this wasn't worth what I paid, given the issues and the hotel manager's attitude.
