Breakfast was a treat each morning, with local pastries and great coffee. The hosts also gave me useful ideas for places to visit and eat nearby. I loved the mix of old character and modern comforts, plus my room was clean, comfortable, well equipped, and had a killer view. Everyone was welcoming and friendly from the start. I can't recommend this place enough. It's a real gem in Puglia, and I can't wait to come back :)

Mimmo was such a helpful, courteous and welcoming host. We booked two rooms at this amazing castle, built in 1265, and my family loved our stay. My room had a large balcony facing the church of Santa Maria la Porta; the other had two French balconies. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and completely clean. WiFi was very fast. Breakfast was far beyond a usual Italian breakfast, with pastries, yogurt, juice and coffee, and everything was so delicious. We highly recommend it and will stay here again when we're back in Apulia.

Mimmo was friendly and helpful, even making sure our car had a safe place overnight. He also suggested a few places to eat, and we enjoyed them all. The rooms are huge and clean, breakfast was delicious, and we had a really nice time. Lovely place to stay, highly recommend.

The hostess waited up for us when we got lost and arrived late, and was very friendly. The rooms are all decorated beautifully, with the place clean and so well preserved. Staying here felt like stepping back 200 years into Italy. After travelling all around the country, this was one of the most incredible and unexpected places we've stayed. Can't wait to return!

The host was great, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. Our room was beautiful and spacious, with a nice bathroom. Palo del Colle feels like a hidden gem, and it's only a 20-minute drive from Bari.
