La Pietraia

The setting looks out over Lake Trasimeno and the valley, and the sunset views from the outdoor dining spots are especially lovely. You can also see the panorama from the pool and some of the windows. The building uses earth, wood, and stone, which give it a warm, welcoming feel that fits the area. It’s also well placed for outings, with many places to explore a short drive away.

The apartment had two roomy bedrooms, a large bathroom, and a living room with a fully equipped kitchen. Outside, there’s a lovely pool, barbecue space, and green areas to relax in. The property is close to the beautiful village of Panicale and looks out over the countryside and Lake Trasimeno. It’s peaceful, and our stay felt truly restful. The owner is cheerful and welcoming. I highly recommend it!

Friendly chickens wander around this beautiful farmhouse, which is easy to reach from the main road and has spacious rooms and a lovely view over the valley. The furnishings are somewhat shabby, and cleanliness could be better. Still, in the countryside, you’d expect spiders to be around.

The place looks better at first than it turns out to be. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere, and hot water in the shower lasted only a few minutes, which felt like a luxury. The pool seemed practically abandoned, with little upkeep and inevitably dirty water.
