Dammuso Villa Giò

The infinity pool overlooking the sea was so lovely that we used it at different points throughout the stay, not just when the water was too rough to swim in. Our dammuso had a one-of-a-kind outdoor shower with hot water, surrounded by well-kept plants. The homes are even prettier in person than in the pictures, and living in one felt like a dream. We stayed in the highest dammuso, with the most panoramic view, and noticed that the others were private and comfortable too. Even with other guests around, we never heard them. Everyone was polite and discreet. Francesco and his family were helpful while giving us space. They offered island tips and interesting stories without being intrusive. Francesco even took us to the sea for one last swim before our ferry. His children, his trusted helpers, were on hand for any problem and to look after the beautiful plants, but they were just as considerate. Dammusi Villa Giò has a lovely mix of quiet, peace, and scents, along with chances to chat with other guests or share a boat ride. It was wonderful to find a place where you can feel like both a visitor and a local. Pantelleria stayed with me, and our time at Francesco’s dammusi made the trip even more special. The pool and outdoor spaces are both beautiful and useful, and the garden’s lush greenery really makes the property special. The Dammusi at Villa Giò are in a great location and exceeded our expectations. Everything is meticulously maintained. Francesco gave us all the information we needed to get around Pantelleria and was always there if we needed anything. We’d recommend it!

Set among the countryside of Pantelleria, this dammuso still has all the comforts you need. The owners are very kind and efficient.

The peace and quiet here felt heavenly, with lovely views out over the sea and Pantelleria countryside. We stayed from September 7th to 13th in this beautiful residence of four dammusi. The garden and pool are lovely and very well maintained. Francesco is a wonderful owner, always so helpful. I’ll definitely try to book the "La grotta" dammuso when I return. It really is a gem.
