I spent four months here and traveled to eight European countries during that time. Based on those experiences, this was the worst service and infrastructure I came across. If you want to regret a booking for years, choose this hotel. The sound carries terribly through the walls. I could hear full conversations from the next room, even snoring at midnight. Private things, from sweet talk between couples to secrets or bank card details, could be heard by the people next door. It’s unsettling to have so little privacy. The heating was just a small space heater, and it switched off at midnight every night. I woke up freezing at least twice a night. When I asked for another quilt after getting cold, I was told there were none and that each room only gets one, so I had to buy one myself. For tourists, the hotel is remote and lacks basic amenities. It took at least an hour to get to any sightseeing spot, which was very inconvenient. For students staying longer, the service was extremely rude, and there was a strict curfew: you had to be back between 6 AM and 12 PM, making travel difficult. The first time I came back late, I apologized, but the manager yelled, “I'm not your mother!” I’m paying good money to be treated this way. How can the service be so unkind and disgusting? On December 9th, I injured my eye in a tennis class and waited for emergency treatment at a public hospital. As people know, the wait to see a doctor here can be long. At 9 PM, I asked the manager to keep the door open for me and got a firm “No.” I was abroad with one eye covered in gauze and couldn’t see. All my toiletries were in my room, and I was devastated. I eventually had to ask my English-speaking insurance agent to speak with them and sort it out. I recorded videos of these incidents and will do my best to edit and post them on TikTok and other major platforms to warn people away. All of us are checking out on December 31st. Doesn't that make you wonder why? Every review says this is the worst hotel. When we return to our home countries, we’ll tell other students never to book here. That’s my New Year's gift to you. You’ve lowered my opinion of Italians.
