The building feels old and badly managed, and it’s still being renovated. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable, but the furnishings are dusty and dated, and the curtains and windows were dirty. The young staff seemed untrained. The person cleaning rooms also served breakfast in the same outfit. I also saw young guests with a hairdresser in one of the lounges, without masks. Marta at reception was professional.

I recommended this hotel to the event suppliers because I was involved as the wedding planner, and I’d stayed here myself a few years ago without any complaints. I didn’t expect management to thank me, of course, but even telling them I knew about the situation felt like too much. Guests reported a lack of hygiene, and the price certainly doesn’t make that acceptable. Good luck.

The staff were helpful and friendly, but that couldn’t make up for the problems with how the hotel is run. It’s a shame, because the place has a beautiful view and sits right across from the port in the city center. With some work on the building and proper staff training, it could regain the reputation it’s lost. The hotel is dated, and it shows.

The location is very convenient and the price feels fair. Rooms are a little dated, but they’re clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were excellent, and breakfast was excellent too.
