The breakfast was delicious, and I had a very pleasant two-day stay in Paola while visiting Calabria. I chose this B&B for its price and breakfast, and my room was really comfortable. My host was lovely and made me feel at home. When the weather got cooler in September, she gave me an extra blanket. I didn't have a car, but the center and the station were an easy 15-30 minute walk away.

Giovanni and his family made my stay at La Casa Rossa unforgettable with their wonderful hospitality. Everything was in order and working properly, and the place was exceptionally clean, cleaner than anywhere I can remember from traveling around the world. I also appreciated the fair price, the chance to park, and the freedom to come and go independently. The sea view was lovely, the Saint Francis Sanctuary was very close, and I could walk to the city center too. Thanks as well for all the great advice on where to eat and how to enjoy Paola.

Hostess Franca was so sweet and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. This charming, quaint bed and breakfast was a delight, and breakfast was amazing.

Mrs. Franca runs this simple but pleasant place near the Sanctuary of San Francisco. She made us a very Italian breakfast with cornetto, ciambelone, and excellent coffee. The room was spotless and the bathroom comfortable. If you're passing through by car, it's handy that you can park there.
