B&B Stefyld

For €45, this place felt much too expensive. We waited 20 minutes outside in the cold, even though we'd arranged our arrival by phone. Breakfast was awful, just plastic-wrapped cornetti, and the coffee machine was disgusting. The previous guest's coffee pod was still inside, sticky and clearly not cleaned out. The courtyard view was just trash, like you see everywhere. The towels for drying were torn, very sustainable 😃. It's a ground-floor apartment, so people can see into the room unless you close the blinds. There was no bedside light, and the main light felt like being in an operating room. I'd put it at €30 at most, and 3 stars at most, definitely not 4.

This was a terrible experience for the second time. There were four of us, but breakfast was meager, enough for two at most. The owner caused us lots of problems and never actually resolved any of them, and she was rude and unfriendly. The place was not clean, and there was no sheet change or general room cleaning during the four days we stayed. We ended up cleaning what little we could ourselves because of the mess. The rooms and furnishings seem put together with only the bare essentials in mind, with things like exposed cables and old windows. I seriously don't recommend staying there. Avoid it. 🤢🤮

We were there from August 18 to August 26, and the stay fell well short of what we expected. The room had a persistent sewer smell from the first day, which made it very unpleasant. Breakfast was meant to be included for the whole stay, but was only offered on six days and didn't come close to the expected standard. The room was cleaned just once, and our sheets and towels were changed only once as well. The linen they provided was torn. We also found the mattress flipped over so we were sleeping directly on the box springs. When we reported it, the owner turned it back and put a topper over it. Lifting the topper showed a dirty mattress covered in disgusting stains. We definitely won't return, and I wouldn't recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable stay.

A complete disappointment. Appointments weren't taken seriously, and there was damp dust and spiders in the bed. There were also constant noises and people and cars coming and going. There was no parking at all.
