Almacanto B&B

We spent a week here as a couple in early August, and it made our Salento trip. The house is gorgeous, with rooms opening onto the courtyard and each one having a little veranda. Breakfast is generous and mostly sweet, with homemade cakes and jams. I’ll always remember the figs, blackberries, and almonds picked fresh from the garden. The grounds are full of olive and fig trees, and even prickly pears. Ilaria and Mauro were so kind and recommended beaches and restaurants. We’d have been lost without them! It’s also very quiet at night, just outside town. The location works well for reaching both the sea, less than 20 minutes away, and the Adriatic. I don’t usually return to the same place, but if I go back to Salento, I’d book here again without a second thought.

The owners are attentive, kind, and always ready to help. It’s a beautiful place to stay, with spacious, comfortable, clean rooms, and a great base for exploring Salento.

Their breakfast made with genuine products is a real highlight. The owners are warm and friendly, and everything is clean, orderly, and authentic. We had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended, see you soon!

We spent a week in paradise at this gorgeous farmhouse. The hosts were incredibly kind, the service was excellent, and breakfast made with local produce was delicious. A lovely spot in Salento, absolutely worth staying at if you’re in the area!
