Tropea was beautiful, and the view from the hotel was amazing. But I wouldn’t recommend this as an all-inclusive stay or as a 4+ star hotel. The rooms and bathrooms were very small, and the service fell short of what we’d hoped for. One of our kids, along with other guests, got hurt on the floating beach pier. We reported it, as did others, but the staff didn’t seem to understand or act quickly. Few people spoke English, and the animation team kept speaking Italian even though they knew many of us couldn’t follow. All-inclusive was okay: limited choices, though the food itself was good quality. The soda tasted bad and came in the tiniest glasses I’ve ever seen.

The service was amazing, and both the setting and the view are out of this world. The food was the best we’ve had at any all-inclusive hotel over the years. We hope they can improve the way into the sea from the private beach by next summer, since the large stones make it hard to walk in. WiFi coverage around the resort was pretty poor too.

The staff were so sweet, and it’s a lovely place. My girlfriend, who’s 31, and I, who’m 30, had an amazing stay. We’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys a beautiful view and really lovely facilities.
