Michelino House

We especially appreciated the secure parking, which must be useful when the area gets busy in summer. Michelino's House is also just a short walk from Spiagga di Michelino and about five minutes on foot from Parghelia, where we found places for lunch and dinner. The hosts made us feel at home, with lovely breakfasts and fruit from their garden. Our modern room was very clean and tidied every day. We enjoyed it so much we wished we could have stayed longer. If we come back to the Tropea area, this is where we’ll stay, and we’ve already recommended it to family and friends.

You can walk to Tropea in around 40 minutes, and the train station is easy to reach on foot. The hosts were so welcoming, the room was modern and clean, and breakfast was lovely. They even lend out beach umbrellas. Everything about our visit felt great, and I’d highly recommend it for a trip to the tropea region.

The hosts’ hospitality was what stayed with us most. The place was very clean, and breakfast was delicious. We also loved having the option to unwind on the villa’s terrace or at the nearby breathtaking beach. We were taken with the property as soon as we arrived, and would definitely come back.

The breakfast was a real highlight, served on a sea-view terrace with croissants, cold cuts and cheese, scrambled eggs with bacon, cakes, yogurt, figs, melon, and several juices. The staff were friendly and helpful, and Mr. Franco deserves credit for running such a recommendable B&B. The rooms were immaculate, air-conditioned, and had comfortable bathrooms with spacious showers. There’s also a large terrace with sofas and loungers. The location is handy, midway between the town center and famous Michelino beach, about 250 meters away.
