Rainbowhouse B&B

Paola was the best, like a cool grandma who’s there whenever you need her. I’d definitely stay again. The rooms are big, there’s secure free parking, and a garden where you can relax with a dog or without one. There are small markets nearby and at least one really nice restaurant. Thanks, Paola, it was all super good.

We spent four nights at B&B Rainbow House and Paola was the kindest person we met on our trip. She went out of her way to help us throughout the stay, and we really appreciated how thoughtful the hosts were. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and handmade each morning. The B&B is up in the mountains in Esino Lario. There’s a bus that runs up and down to Varenna now and then. We’d highly recommend staying here.

This was our third year in a row taking a vacation here. We rented an apartment only, not the B&B, and have always had a great time. Each apartment has two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and balconies, with plenty of space. You can park in the courtyard. Mrs. Paola is always kind and straightforward. Sending her my regards.

The heating was the weak point. A small pellet stove warmed the apartment, but it wasn’t enough to heat every room properly, so it felt cold. Apart from that, it was a good stay, just nothing special.
