Albergo villa nobile

For a two-star hotel, there’s a lot to like. Mrs. Concetta, the owner, is sweet, discreet, and always ready to help. When she learned it was my birthday, she left a little heart-shaped cake with a candle, and I felt so looked after. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, both sweet and savory. The room was very large, though the bathroom was less spacious; the shower itself was roomy, and hot water came straight away. Everything was spotless and smelled fresh, with no stains, holes, or repairs. The bathroom linens and multicolored pillowcases were clean, and the shower towels were enormous, bigger than ones I’ve seen in four-star hotels. The mattress was good, the pillows less so but still passable. The TV was small but worked, and the colorful comforter was very warm. The radiators ran all day and night, and there was also a heat pump. Since I’m sensitive to cold, I asked about a heater for the shower, and the owner found one for me right away. My only complaint is the hallway soundproofing: loud guests arriving at night, talking and slamming doors, can wake you up. We’ll definitely come back. Thanks for everything!

The terrace has a wonderful view from the villa, which sits on the "Balcony of Sicily," all the way out to Mount Etna. Rooms were well equipped and very clean, and breakfast was prepared with care. It’s a great base for exploring southern Sicily. Thank you for being so welcoming.

I only stayed a few hours and checked in at 2 a.m., but the owner was kind and helpful, even at that late hour.

We were warmly welcomed, and the rooms were spotless. Concetta and Fabrizio are wonderful people, and they served us a delicious homemade local dinner. We spent one night at Albergo Villa Nobile while making our pilgrimage to Caltagirone. It’s such a welcoming place, with a wonderful panoramic view.
