The big supermarket is right beside the hotel, and there’s a bus stop just outside. Parma’s center takes about 30 minutes on foot or 7 minutes by bus. The hotel feels old, and the older man who seems to own it doesn’t speak English, though two younger men who work alternating shifts speak it well. The toilet was fine. The blanket wasn’t white and had a strange smell. They offer free cake or bread with coffee in the morning, and after 11 p.m. you need a security code to get in. I’d rate the quality 6/10.

The bathrooms are on the small side, but the hotel itself was clean and nice. What stood out most was the staff: everyone was warm and helpful, and they were happy to go out of their way for us. Ask them where to eat, their restaurant suggestions are worth getting.

The staff were unfriendly, and the laundry situation was frustrating. The cleaning lady told me to wait, so I only finished doing laundry after checkout time. Then she called the manager to ask why we hadn’t checked out. The room also smelled strongly whenever I came back into it, even after it had been cleaned. The floor was dusty too. I had to clean it twice so my little girl wouldn’t get dirty playing there.

We had free parking and very friendly staff. The rooms are small, though cozy, and breakfast is very basic since there’s no kitchen. The location worked well for us: around a 15-minute walk to the center, with a big supermarket nearby.
